In one sentence, The Blueberry Hunt is about the war over a harvest of Blueberry Skunk (notorious among cannabis partners for its unique fragrance) being developed affectionately by Colonel (Naseeruddin Shah) in the wildernesses of Kerala.
Who is battling whom? What is the foundation to these fatal conflicts other than that they are to do with costly cannabis? The film doesn’t try to set up much else besides the way that close to Colonel, there is a Bihari fellow called Sett (Seth, I assume, Vipin Sharma) who is the purchaser of his produce and a nearby go between. A few shooters simply keep appearing from no place – even as the Colonel keeps watch over the product through the few cameras in the home in the organization of a toon insane puppy called Kuttapan.
