In this 50th year of the James Bond arrangement, with the inauspicious “Quantum of Solace” (2008) still in our brains, “Skyfall” triumphantly reexamines 007 in one of the best Bonds ever. This is a full-blooded, happy, smart festival of a darling social symbol, with Daniel Craig taking full ownership of a part he prior played well in “Gambling club Royale,” not all that well in “Quantum” – despite the fact that it might not have been totally his blame.
Then again is it simply that he’s developing on me? I don’t recognize what I anticipated. I don’t recognize what I expected in Bond No. 23, yet surely not an ordeal this empowering.
