With the withdrawal of NATO forces from Afghanistan the Afghan acquires National Army (ANA) control in Helmand province, which is considered to be extremely dangerous. Attacks by Taliban fighters are the order of the day. Security or even peace seem out of reach, already a common language that is difficult in a country in which everyone distrusts everyone. Tell Spring Not to Come This Year from Saeed Taji Farouky give an epic dimension the everyday life of the soldiers, private moments and bloody battles seem like metaphors for the fate of the torn country. In reflexive interviews from the off, the protagonists voice their doubts, hopes and dreams. Shown is the absurdity of the conflict from the perspective of the Afghan soldiers and a country whose State power is delivered with an enemy which NATO troops have not defeated in almost 13 years.
