Still, the water plays on the tropical Japanese island of Amami: A boy must try here to get over the separation of his parents. A girl, however, quarrels with the serious illness of her mother. Together with his girlfriend Kyoko he wants to unravel the mystery behind the deaths. The two young people learn the cycles of life, death and love, thereby eventually learn to grow up.
